Soccer Time!

Erika has been wanting to play soccer for a while and all the city leagues have this dumb rule that you have to be in kindergarten before you can play any sports. We finally found a city league that was offering just like a basics camp that is 6 weeks long so we signed her up for it. We went and picked up her jersey like a month ago and ever since then every day she asks "Is it time for soccer yet?"

It finally started the middle of April and here are some pictures from her first game. This is here before her first game all decked out!After a couple weeks of games we have found that she loves to be the goalie and her favorite part about soccer is the snacks at the end of the game...AWESOME! Oh well its fun and good exercise and we get a good laugh watching the games so its all good! Here she is with her team the Horned Frogs practicing before a game:Erika as the goalie:
Five minutes before the 1st game was over she got a nice fat lip after she was head butted by another kid trying to get the ball. She immediately ran off the field and didn't want to go back on!

This last video is the best...please notice Erika stands and stares into space as the ball rolls right past her. Then out of NO where she takes off prancing in the opposite direction of the ball. Hilarious...gotta love my daughter!
