California Trip...Part II

Sorry...things have been crazy insane the last couple days as I will explain more in a later post! Back to the trip! On Monday & Tuesday we spent time getting things ready to go camping and running errands.
We went and bought Erika a new helmet and I swear she hasn't taken it off since we bought it for her! She loves it and always has it on. One night we had a BBQ and Kyle was in charge of flipping the shish kabobs and he came inside and fell asleep like this!!
One night Mike put on a fashion show for us...wearing Jessica's clothes...thanks Mike once again we are scarred for life. Those yoga pants do look good on you though!Of course Erika had to take a dip in the pool...it was a nice warm 70 degrees and so she was the only one to venture into the water!Erika also learned REAL quick that if you ride this horsey you better hold on REAL tight! She got bucked off the first time and flew so high in the air...it was hilarious!!When Erika wasn't riding her bike, swimming, or riding the horsey she walked around the house trying to scare everyone
On Wednesday we headed down to Santa Cruz for our annual Memorial Day camping trip. We picked up Trent at the San Jose airport on the way to the campground so he could join in the fun!! We got our camp all set up and sat back and relaxed.
Thursday
Thursday morning we woke up to rain so we hurried and put up all the canopies and covered all the tents.Grandpa made Erika her own fancy rain coat out of a garbage bag! Smile for the camera ErikaNo...I said smile!Oh forget it...we all hung out under the canopies and watched Erika act like a dorkand then finally took off to town and spent a couple hours walking through Costco and eating some delicious Costco Dogs. When we got back to camp we decided to try and take the training wheels off Erika's bike and have her try to ride by herself. First Trent tried to help her:
Then Grandpa tried to help herand then we finally gave up and put the wheels back on! The rest of the day we spent playing games, hanging out, stuffing our faces with food and trying to stay warm!
