AHHHH I am so excited! Can we just skip the end of September and October and go right to November?!? I am actually going to see an awesome movie and also donating to an awesome cause...can't get much better than that right! Do you want to join in the cause too?!?
Colton’s Angels is a group of women who really started out meeting once a month just to comfort a friend with the death of her teenage son. This way they knew that at least one time a month she was getting out of her house. These meetings revolved into now about 12 ladies that get together every month and make and donate to the hospital etc in Colton’s name. We have donated many quilts , receiving blankets, activity kits etc to Mt. View Hospital. This year we were able to have a Scholarship for one student at SF High in the amount of $1000 who wanted to continue his education in the auto body/mechanic field. They have reserved a theater for a fund raiser with the showing of New Moon. It is going to be on November 24th. The 7:00 and 9:30 showing. It is going to be $30 per person. This will get you your ticket in, $10 in concessions, a ticket in the raffles that night and a special gift that everyone will be taking home. This fund raiser is going to be awesome because what it is going to really do is let us double the scholarship fund for 2010. And it is going to put money in their account so that they can start giving to the other hospitals in the county in Colton’s name.
So if you want to see the movie and help out let me know and I will get your information to the ladies in charge of the Colton's Angels group so they can reserve a ticket for you!
