A couple weeks ago both of my parents were in town and so was my little brother. My Dad scored us some pretty awesome tickets to go to the BYU Football game. The weather that morning was HORRIBLE. It was pouring down rain and cold and windy. Before the game started we got to go in the VIP tent and enjoy a smorgasbord of food. There was turkey, ribs, steak, corn dogs, mashed potatoes, salad, and cookies and desserts galore! My Mom and I stayed inside the tent until the rain cleared up for the game and then we ran out to our seats!
Our seats were on the 50 yard line about 10 rows up...so amazing! It's a whole different ball game when you can actually hear the players talking and yelling at each other!
Underneath our seats were coolers with drinks and snacks for during the game. It also had coupons for us to go and get either a hot chocolate or ice cream if we wanted too. Then at halftime we got to go back in the tent for hot dogs, drinks, and popcorn! Despite it being so overcast for some reason it was really bright! That is why we are all squinting in these pictures! Here is my Dad and I cheering on the cougars!
And my Mom and I cheering them on as well!
And here is the whole gang. Trent couldn't make it because he had to finish a side job that day...bummer! He would have been in heaven!
After the game we went back into the tent and got more drinks, cookies, and fruit and veggies. As soon as we got back into the cars it started to pour down rain again! I'm glad it stayed dry for us during the whole game! It was so much fun to go to the game and be with my family!
