Since Lexi is a little animal and climbs out of EVERYTHING we bit the bullet and started putting her in a big girl bed. For the last 2 weeks I have put her in a big girl bed for her afternoon nap but have been putting her back in the crib at nights to help save our sanity potentially! My parents came into town on Friday and surprised the girls with an early Christmas present....matching bedroom sets!! So on Friday night we made the beds up and put Lexi down for bed in the big girl bed. Two nights later we are still having success! She doesn't get out of bed she just stays in there!!
Of course she does like to re-arrange her bed so sometimes when we put her to bed we can hear her moving around in her room and we go check on her and she will have the blankets all laid out nicely and the pillows arranged around her! But hey she isn't getting out of bed so I will take it!
Also the mis-matched pillow didn't come with the set! Trent's Mom has been making a cute new pillowcase for each holiday for the kids so that is Lexi's turkey pillowcase!
Now that she is in the big girl bed we can take down the crib....wohoo! It is kind of sad to see my little baby sleeping in that big bed but at the same time this means we are one step closer to potty training and no more diapers....even bigger wohoo!!
Both of our girls sound asleep in their beds! Thanks Mom & Dad for the cute bed sets!!
**Please note that both girls are sleeping on TOP of their comforters. Erika refuses to get under the covers because she doesn't want to have to make her bed in the morning! I thought that was only a teenager thing!! And because Erika didn't sleep under her sheets Lexi didn't want to this night either**

How cute is that?! You're so lucky she doesn't get out of bed. We fought Marshall for months before he finally stayed in bed through the whole night.
