Halloween

For Halloween the girls were all witches. Of course Lexi wanted to be a purple witch so we got her costume all worked out. Then we found out that Harley had an old purple witch costume so Erika borrowed that one. Then I found a purple witch onesie on sale for $1.00 for Riley so they all ended up being purple witches! This year since Halloween was on Monday that meant that we had lots of stuff to do on Saturday as well. It was a good thing too we got all the kinks worked out of the costume on Saturday! We did better make-up and darker purple hair on Monday but of course we have no pictures of it! We got the girls all dolled up (or witched out) and we went to Trent's parents Trunk or Treat Saturday afternoon.

 It was a super windy day so wearing hats just didn't work out. The girls had fun going around the street a couple (like 4!) times to collect candy.

 In fact I could barely get them to hold still or stop eating candy for two seconds just to get a picture!

 Trent had fun scaring little kids while handing out handfuls of candy!

 On Monday Erika got all dressed up for school and we went to go watch her in the Costume Parade that they had. The kids basically ran by us so we didn't get any good pictures of her walking with her class!

 Monday night our ward had its Trunk or Treat and man they scored a TON of candy there! After the trunk or treat we headed to a neighborhood by our house and took the girls door to door. This is how Riley spent the rest of the night (it's a good thing I got her a costume!)

Erika ran from house to house and Lexi's little legs couldn't keep up. Erika had to sit on the doorstep and wait a couple minutes while she waited for her sister to catch up!

 After we got home we had the girls dump out their candy and we did the candy check and then took the annual picture of them with their loot! Here is Erika...she couldn't even take her eyes off the pile to smile for a picture!

Here is the only time we saw Riley in her costume...at home! We sure had fun with our little witches though!
