- Still wears newborn size clothes. She seriously could fit in half of the dolls clothes in Erika's closet. She had about 3 outfits we rotated between but my Mom bought her a couple more newborn outfits while we were in California so her wardrobe doubled! None of the other girls wore newborn sized clothes for more than like 4 days so this is unreal! I know people have smaller babies than Riley but not me and I am just not used to it!- Lexi has a million nicknames for her including Chubby Cheeks, Bug Eyes (when Riley wakes up I hold her and say "Good Morning Bright Eyes" apparently Lexi thinks I am calling her Bug Eyes), Riley Bug, Sweetie Pie, and Turkey Legs (we call Riley chicken legs because she has the skinniest legs ever and Lexi has translated that into turkey legs instead!)
- She is a great sleeper. She does one 6 hour stretch at night which is amazing. She is starting to be more alert during the day but still sleeps a lot. If she isn't sleeping she loves to just lay and look around and fling her arms around!
- She is still frightened of Lexi and seriously can sense when her big sister is around. She gets this tense look on her face and scrunches up her forehead all concerned like. Which is usually followed by crying because her sister just shoved a baby bottle in her mouth or something to that effect.- She is a smiler! Trent was tickling her chin and cheeks the other night and she would pull the biggest grins! She has the cutest smile ever and is smiling more and more everyday.
- She talks....a little. She opens her mouth and you keep expecting to hear some sound come out of it but it never does! Sometimes though she will sit and coo and make all sorts of sounds it is so cute!
- When you pick her up after she has been sleeping she does this back bend stretch and basically bends herself in half almost touching the back of her head to her bum!
- She is a big time cuddler. Put her up on your chest and she will nuzzle right into your neck and she is instantly out. She loves to fall asleep this way. Let's be honest...I love it too!
- She got in the pool for the first time in her life last week. She wasn't too pleased with the first toe dip but after a couple tries she loved it and would kick her legs around.
- She crosses her legs at her ankles when she falls asleep and it is SO cute. (See first picture on this post to see what I am talking about) Also when you put her up on your chest to sleep she will curl her legs up under her bum and sleep on you in the fetal postion. So cute!
- She holds her head up for long periods of time...only to have it come crashing down against you! She is getting better at it though!
- She's a little lizard. The second she feels skin she turns to it and starts licking it. She is constantly licking my neck, face, and arms!
- She rolls to her sides if you lay her on her back. Most nights we put her in bed on her back and she will roll over to one of her sides to sleep.
She is such a joy to have in our family and we are slowly getting used to being a family of 5!

Please never put up another post like this again, it made me a little baby hungry!! She is adorable and newborns are just so precious.
