Tooth Fairy

Erika lost her first tooth last night!! It has been loose for a while and we have been trying to get her to wiggle it and get it even looser. Last night she brushed her teeth before bed and then came to show me how loose it was getting. When I put my finger in her mouth I could feel the other tooth coming up behind it. I grabber finger and showed her where the tooth was.

She decided that she wanted her tooth out that night! We were asking her how she wanted it to come out and she informed us that she wanted to tie a string to her tooth and then tie the other end to a bottle rocket and let it come out that way (she had seen a little boy do this on America's Funniest Home Videos a couple nights ago!). We told her we didn't have any bottle rockets handy so what was her second choice!

She wanted to tie a string to her tooth and then just pull it out herself. Lets just say we have some pretty hilarious video of her attempting to yank her tooth out but she would move her head with the string so she never actually pulled her tooth. Once she realized that wasn't working she wanted Trent to tie it to the door and then slam it!

So that is what we did and OUT popped the tooth!

She didn't even cry she was so excited it was out!

I can't believe my girl has lost her first tooth! She was so excited to put her tooth in an envelope and put it under her bed and go to sleep!

When she woke up this morning this is what she found in place of her tooth! She was so excited and read us the letter and showed us what the tooth fairy brought! The pink paper is just for her scrapbook so we know the dates she looses her teeth and which ones they are!
